As a consultant, I am constantly looking for new financing options and subsidies for innovation projects of my (future) clients. What I love about this is that I am involved in innovation on a daily basis and share responsibility for financing a wide variety of innovative projects, especially in the field of software and physical product development.
I get a lot of energy and inspiration from the ever-changing dynamics within start-ups, scale-ups, SMEs and large companies – all represented in my client portfolio.
Within Ugoo, in addition to IT and innovation, I have two other spheres of influence: Personnel & Training and subsidy schemes that touch on this.
Personal
I live in Amsterdam and have been working there at Ugoo since January 2016. I am now a Senior Consultant Innovation & Funding, as we have so nicely called it. In that role I always try to make contact with colleagues and customers in a relaxed and sincere way. I've been called disarming. Personally, I think dosed humor is a nice way to lighten up sometimes tense situations. I combine this with patience and a flexible work attitude, so that colleagues will not quickly appeal to my help or contribution in vain.
In my spare time I do a lot of sports. Circuit training three times a week and sometimes padel or tennis in the evenings. I also like chess, cigars, history and whisky.
