Driven by curiosity about what drives my clients and the future plans they envision, I am responsible for applying for innovation subsidies on behalf of these companies. I am in charge of this process and I am responsible for the implementation. This means that I monitor the big picture, such as submission deadlines and the wishes of various stakeholders at the client. At the same time, I look for more depth in the technical conversations I have and the elaboration of a promising application afterwards.
Expertise
Eager for technologies that companies choose to develop software and the properties that underlie these choices, I have a broad knowledge base. Companies that are averse to fads and, for example, choose a programming language that best suits the process they automate intrigue me. Some customers still use Cobol because the software is so reliable. On the other hand, it intrigues me when companies dare to experiment with a promising language like Rust. Passion for technology and what it brings to companies drives me. It allows me to be decisive in technical conversations.
Personal
In the year in which drone technology was demonstrated to the general public with a playful advertisement for Amazon's Prime Air delivery service, I started at Ugoo. This advertisement turned out not to be real, but the pleasure that I experience as a consultant innovation and funding is by no means played.
I attach great importance to a balance between mental and physical effort. Before I end the working day, I regularly look for sportive effort at a Crossfit gym. During a workout I like to leave all thoughts of work for what they are and to focus on my sporting goals and the physical work required for this. No relaxation without effort!
